Does anybody have any evidence that the Death rune is one of the four runes? In my opinion, it would make a lot more sense if it was the Art rune instead. Here's why:

First of all, I have less trouble imagining the shape as a harp rather than a scythe. I'm talking about those standing harps, not those smaller U-shaped ones.

Secondly, the death rune is described in the same book as the sky rune, so that leaves one book unused. The art rune is described in this unused book, so if it was art rather than death, all four books would be used. It is very well possible that one book is useless, but one rune for every book would seem like a more logical choice.

Lastly, just try the riddles and you'll see it makes (more) sense. For example, "Dying on a Fresco, Struck by lightning" could be both death and art. But 'An evil lullaby' is more like art (a song) than death. And 'Divertimento', entertainment, is likely to be art, unless you have a rather morbid fantasy. Of course, some never really make sense, no matter how you interpret it, like "The moon quietly moans" (maybe the sound is like music (art), but maybe moaning means wounded, pain, dying (death) ?) The name of the file / image was taken from the game files, so while i admit that i also would have called it the art rune, the files seems to suggest otherwise. whether that was due to an oversight by CDPR or a misunderstanding on the part of myself and JPulowski , who can say? — Game widow (talk) 11:17, August 20, 2012 (UTC)
I guess I can't argue with the game files. But then again, it's an RPG so I'll just use my imagination. Koekjesmonster (talk) 06:43, August 21, 2012 (UTC)
