Ornithosaur (Polish: Ornitoreptyl) is an order of creatures witch have traits of both birds and reptiles. According to Geralt, its only member is cockatrice.[1]
In The Witcher computer game
In the game, Ornithosaur is a hypernym used to refer to a number of four-limbed, winged, non-intelligent reptilians.
The word is a combination of Greek ornis, ornith- (bird) and sauros (lizard).
